Caroline Tuipē | Founder

Caroline Tuipē is a mother of three small humans, two small animals and wife to one very lucky husband. Born in the San Francisco Bay Area and raised partly in Christchurch, Aotearoa (New Zealand), Tuipē’s upbringing among Tongan elders and community leaders deeply impacted her approach to relationship building. During her pursuit of education, she drew inspiration from scholars like Angela Davis, Assata Shakur, Dr. Huey P. Newton, Epeli Hau‘ofa and Haunani-Kay Trask, inspired by narratives of interconnectedness and self-determination.

Tuipē has built meaningful partnerships with global Industry organizations including Genentech, Roche, Merck, and PhRMA. She has collaborated with renowned medical researches like Dr. Kekoa Taparra and esteemed Indigenous scholars and cultural leaders such as Dr. Suraj Yengde, Kiliona Palauni, Hinaleimoana Wong-Kalu, and Kristian [Krit] Fanene Schmidt, amplifying their voices in conversations on health impact and cultural belonging.

In the education sector, Tuipē has led transformative programs for institutions like Princeton University and the San Mateo County Office of Education, equipping students and educators with essential knowledge on career pathways in biotech and industry opportunities. Her collaborations with leading biotech companies bridge education and workforce development, creating accessible opportunities for all communities.

Through her leadership, Tuipē continues to drive change, build bridges, and create lasting impact across industries, academia, and grassroots movements.
